Role Description

This is a contract role for a Network Engineer with Data Center ACI expertise, located on-site in Hyderabad. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network solutions within data centers. Daily tasks include deploying and configuring ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), troubleshooting network issues, ensuring network security, managing network performance, and collaborating with other IT professionals to support and upgrade network architecture for optimal efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Data Center Networking, specifically with ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)
• Proficiency in network design, deployment, and management
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving network issues
• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices
• Skills in network performance management
• Ability to work collaboratively with other IT professionals
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years specializing in Cisco ACI.
• In-depth understanding of ACI architecture, components, and operations.
• Proven track record in consulting or client-facing roles, providing technical solutions and support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or ACI specialization are highly desirable.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Cisco ACI configuration, management, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).

• Familiarity with network security practices and technologies.

• Knowledge of data centre networking, virtualization, and software-defined networking (SDN).
