Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer / Jr. Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving server and network issues. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and solve problems efficiently. It is essential to document information accurately in the Trouble Ticket system for effective communication within the team. Meeting SLAs and maintaining the quality expectations of Platform Operations are crucial aspects of this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the precision of Platform Operations procedures and documents. You should be adept at diagnosing network issues and working towards their resolution promptly. Handling multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and low escalation level is expected. As a representative of Platform Operations during phone incidents, you will play a key role in resolving technical challenges. Your proficiency in Client systems will be instrumental in day-to-day troubleshooting activities. Maintaining an advanced understanding of Client systems, including VLAN, Switch Configuration, FortiGate Firewall, Routers, Switches, and BGP, is essential for this position. Required Qualifications: - Knowledge of data center environment - Proficiency in Storage/Server/Cisco & HP Switches, routers, and FortiGate firewall configuration and troubleshooting - Understanding of WAN/LAN/Ill - Familiarity with RAID/idrac/ilo - Experience in mounting servers in racks - Competence in Linux and Windows server OS installation and network configuration This is a full-time position based in Panchkula.
