Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for Installation, Configuration of Routing and Switching devices in a basic/advance level mode.
Responsible for doing the Installation, Configuration of Network devices at “CTPL” customer sites, not limited to only foundation technologies but also other technologies like Security, Collaboration and Wireless.
Responsible for visiting the customer site for any technical calls on 8x6 basis and be available in case of any customer emergency on 24/7 basis either on phone, mail, remote or onsite if needed depending upon the criticality of the call logged by customer.
Responsible for attending the minimum of 3 site support calls per day, depending upon the level of technical issue and resolution time.
You should be reporting on/before time to the site which has been assigned to you and mark your telephonic attendance at CTPL every morning after reaching to the site. (This in case if you could be assigned as residence engineer at any of our customer)
Also, you should be highly responsible to share the detailed activity completed and troubleshooting done of each call, and educating the same to other team members.
Highly responsible for checking your emails frequently for support calls and capture information about each call going to attend or attended.
Should maintain company’s ethics and providing right information to customers abut “CTPL”.
Update the day-to-day activity to the line manager in clear language and future plan of actions.
Maintain understanding of business issues, operating procedures and priorities.
Should maintain and participate in weekly, monthly review with the line manager.
Responsible for maintain and track support helpdesk for a day-to-day technical call assigned to you.
Making use of helpdesk systems to prioritize work-load and updating queries and calls
You should be highly responsible for taking sign-off of installation, service reports from customer without fail for each call attended and activity done.
Responsible for escalating advance level of technical issue to the senior engineers and line manager and finding the root cause and resolution
