Job Description

Role Summary

The Level 1 Network Engineer is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure and security devices. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain:
Firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper
VPN and Secure Access: Prisma, Z-Scaler
Switching & Routing: Cisco, HP Aruba
Perform advanced diagnostics and resolve connectivity issues.
Implement network security policies and firewall rules.
Collaborate with security teams for threat mitigation and compliance.
Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
Participate in major incident calls and provide technical expertise.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of firewall technologies and security best practices.
Hands-on experience with:
Palo Alto Networks (including Panorama)
Cisco routers and switches
Prisma Access and Z-Scaler
HP Aruba networking solutions
Fortinet and Juniper firewalls
Knowledge of VPN technologies, SSL/TLS, and secure remote access.
Familiarity with network monitoring and ITSM tools.
