Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in the installation and configuration of networking equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying routers, switches, and other network devices at client sites, performing on-site configuration, testing connectivity, and ensuring successful integration into existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, rack-mount, and cable network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
• Configure network hardware (e.g., IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, ACLs)
• Perform system validation, connectivity testing, and troubleshooting post-installation
• Collaborate with remote teams for guided configurations when necessary
• Read and follow network diagrams, deployment plans, and installation guides
• Maintain detailed documentation of installation work and configuration changes
• Escalate issues as needed and provide regular status updates
• Adhere to project timelines and customer requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety and data security standards on-site

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in network hardware installation and configuration
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing/switching
• Hands-on experience with devices from vendors like Cisco, Mikrotik, Juniper, Ubiquiti, etc.
• Familiarity with network tools (e.g., PuTTY, SecureCRT, Wireshark)
• Ability to work independently at customer sites
• Own laptop and toolkit (console cable, screwdrivers, labeler, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Pay: ₹5,261.00 - ₹5,761.00 per day
