Description
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage Aruba Wireless infrastructure , including APs, controllers, and mobility master. Configure and maintain ClearPass Policy Manager for device authentication, posture assessments, and role-based access control. Monitor and troubleshoot wireless network performance, ensuring optimal coverage, capacity, and security. Collaborate with security teams to enforce NAC policies and integrate ClearPass with identity and security systems. Perform regular firmware upgrades, patch management, and system health checks for Aruba hardware and software. Provide escalation support and root cause analysis for complex wireless and network access issues. Develop documentation, SOPs, and diagrams for wireless and ClearPass environments. Participate in network architecture reviews and contribute to long-term strategic planning. Train junior engineers and assist with knowledge transfer across the team. Required Skills & Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, with at least 5+ years focused on Aruba Wireless solutions . Proven expertise with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager , including onboarding, posture checks, RADIUS, and TACACS+. Deep understanding of 802.1X, VLANs, wireless security protocols (WPA2/WPA3), and authentication mechanisms. Experience with Aruba Central, AirWave, and Mobility Controllers. Solid grasp of network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, etc. Strong troubleshooting skills with wireless tools and packet analysis. Aruba Certified (ACMP/ACMX or ClearPass certifications) preferred. Knowledge of firewall, endpoint compliance, and network segmentation practices is a plus. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
