Job Description

Role Summary

Nephro P&L Lead

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & P&L Management

  • Own the overall P&L for the Nephrology category including dialysis consumables, equipment, and accessories.
  • Define category growth plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive revenue, margin, and cost optimization through data-driven planning.
  • Monitor sales performance, contribution margins, and working capital utilization.

Category & Product Management

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive product portfolio across Nephro sub-categories.
  • Identify new product opportunities and engage with OEMs, distributors, and hospitals.
  • Manage pricing, positioning, and assortment strategies for growth.
  • Ensure compliance and product quality in collaboration with regulatory teams.

Supplier & Vendor Development

  • Build strategic relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and annual business agreements.
  • Ensure consistent product availability and competitive pricing.

Sales Enablement & Channel Development

  • Support regional sales teams with training, marketing material, and campaigns.
  • Develop GTM strategies for institutional and B2B segments.
  • Onboard new channel partners and hospital networks.

Market Intelligence & Analytics

  • Track market trends, competitor movements, and price benchmarks.
  • Analyze sales data and customer insights for forecasting and strategy refinement.
  • Provide quarterly performance reviews and projections to leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Digital, and Operations teams.
  • Partner with Marketing for category promotion campaigns.
  • Liaise with Product and Tech teams to enhance digital visibility and ordering experience.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:

     MBA / PGDM (preferred) or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
  • Experience:

    12- 15 years in Medical Devices / Nephrology / Dialysis / Healthcare B2B.
  • Proven P&L or category ownership experience.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of nephrology consumables and hospital procurement.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Exposure to digital commerce or healthcare supply chain platforms preferred.
