Key Responsibilities
a) Execute stability, ballasting, towing, weight control, and scantling design calculations.
b) Perform engineering analysis for construction and operational stages; review design and fabrication drawings.
c) Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations (ABS, DNV, BV, SOLAS, IMO).
d) Coordinate with multiple disciplines, departments, vendors, and regulatory organizations.
e) Prepare purchase specifications, conduct technical evaluations, and review vendor documentation.
f) Provide technical support for load out/in operations, vessel docking, and inclining experiments.
g) Adhere to Quality Systems, HSES policies, and information security procedures.
Qualifications
a) Education: BE/BTech in Naval Architecture (ME/MTech preferred).
b) Experience: 2-5 years in offshore oil & gas facilities or drilling rigs with construction yards/EPC contractors.
Skills:
a) Proficiency in MOSES, GHS, AutoHydro, Aveva.
b) Knowledge of classification rules and international codes.
c) Strong communication and multi-disciplinary coordination abilities.
