Job Description

As the Head of Training and Competence at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of a world-class training center. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the workforce is equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to excel. By championing innovation and integrating modern technologies, you will improve training speed, accuracy, and effectiveness. - Lead the establishment of the Naroda Training Center, overseeing its physical infrastructure, procurement of equipment, and operational setup. Define a long-term strategy for training and competence development aligned with business goals and industry standard methodologies. - Develop and implement a strategic training & competence framework in alignment with the company's objectives and industry standards. Collaborate with senior management to identify training needs and prioritize initiatives for organizational growth and performance. - Identify key training topics and techniques utilizing the latest digitalization tools to improve training effectiveness. Standardize and harmonize training with other Siemens Energy centers for consistent delivery. - Manage a team of training professionals including trainers, instructional designers, and competence assessors. Provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality training solutions. - Design tailored training programs for various job roles and skill levels within the operational landscape using industry standard processes and innovative methodologies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, business administration, or related field, ideally combined with an MBA or equivalent management experience. - 10+ years of relevant experience in service businesses or equivalent, with a track record of developing and commercializing training offerings. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization. - Strategic problem-solving skills to translate business goals into actionable training initiatives. - Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
