Mydbops - Java Software Engineer - System Design

Java Software Engineer We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Java Software Engineer to join our growing development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java-based applications that drive core business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java, object-oriented programming, backend technologies, and system design, with a proactive mindset toward clean, testable, and maintainable code. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-performance, secure, and scalable backend solutions using Java Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other developers Translate business requirements into technical specifications and software design Write clean, reusable, efficient, and testable code following best practices and coding standards Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and data sources Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues as needed Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Maintain thorough documentation of software architecture, processes, and : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5-6years of hands-on experience in Java development Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Knowledge of API security, performance tuning, and scalability Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills Strong verbal and written communication to Have : Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or container orchestration Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or any message brokers Knowledge of ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for logging/monitoring Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs (ref:hirist.tech) Show more Show less
