Analyze sanction letters, SOAs, term sheets, valuation reports, and financial statements for informed decision- making. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Strategy & Design Develop and define end-to-end SCF products, policies, and workflows tailored for small retailers and distributors. Design risk models, eligibility criteria, and loan lifecycle for inventory-led financing and invoice discounting. Lead product blueprinting with the engineering team to translate financing models into digital workflows and APIs. 2. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships Engage with banks, NBFCs, and credit societies for lender onboarding and credit underwriting integration. Collaborate with retailers, wholesalers, and FMCG brands to align product needs with operational realities. 3. Compliance, Risk & Credit Modeling Define credit assessment logic, KYC, KYB, repayment structures, and default risk mechanisms. Work closely with legal & compliance teams to ensure product adheres to regulatory frameworks in India and other key markets. 4. Engineering Collaboration Act as a functional owner and liaison between product management and engineering teams. Co-create feature backlogs, user flows, API structures, and integration pipelines. Help shape the architecture for real-time invoice validation, inventory tracking, and disbursement automation. 5. Pilot & Market Deployment Support pilot rollouts with partner distributors, POS retailers, and micro-merchants. Provide feedback loops to improve credit scoring models and BNPL flows based on pilot data. Required Skills & Experience 712 years of experience in supply chain finance , retail lending, or working capital finance. Deep understanding of invoice discounting , inventory-backed loans , and BNPL financing structures. Exposure to MSME lending , retail financing , and digital credit platforms. Experience collaborating with technology teams to build lending/financing platforms. Hands-on experience designing credit products , including risk models and repayment workflows. Ability to analyze large datasets and work with credit scoring teams to fine-tune eligibility and pricing.
