Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Consultant to support the growth and development of Manufacturing companies through strategic advice, capacity-building initiatives, and access to financial and business resources. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with small businesses, a strong understanding of regulatory and financial frameworks, and a passion for driving inclusive economic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Advisory:
  • Provide strategic, financial, and operational consulting to MSMEs across sectors.
  • Assist in the development of business plans, growth strategies, and marketing plans.
  • Evaluate and improve MSME processes, systems, and efficiency.
  • Financial Access & Support:
  • Guide MSMEs in accessing government schemes, subsidies, and credit facilities.
  • Assist in preparing financial documents, loan applications, and project reports.
  • Connect MSMEs with banks, NBFCs, and investor networks.
  • Compliance & Policy Guidance:
  • Help businesses understand and comply with local and national regulations (GST, UDYAM, etc.).
  • Educate clients about new MSME policies and government initiatives.
  • Capacity Building & Training:
  • Organize workshops, webinars, and one-on-one sessions for MSME skill development.
  • Train MSMEs in digital tools, bookkeeping, marketing, and HR management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Liaise with government agencies, industry associations, financial institutions, and NGOs.
  • Represent clients in meetings with financial or regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track and report on MSME growth metrics and program outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of consultations and client engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 1–5 years of experience in consulting, financial services, or MSME development.
  • Knowledge of MSME schemes, policies, and financial instruments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with government or donor-funded projects is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and Kannada preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
