Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Invoicing SQL Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for developing and implementing a robust, accurate, and efficient invoicing system tailored to complex and fluid client billing scenarios. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL database architecture, programming, contract language and a proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale projects in invoicing or financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for client invoicing systems, ensuring high levels of data quality and integrity.


• Translate complex billing requirements into effective database solutions using SQL programming.


• Create and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to facilitate efficient data manipulation and retrieval.


• Work closely with the finance and contracts departments to understand and implement billing rules and structures as per contractual agreements.


• Develop logic and code necessary to handle various invoicing scenarios, including variable pricing, discounts, multi-currency transactions, and other conditional billing arrangements.


• Conduct thorough testing and validation of the database systems to ensure accuracy and reliability of the invoicing processes.


• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms to accommodate evolving business needs.


• Prepare accurate and detailed documentation throughout the development process, including database schemas, data flow diagrams, and coding guidelines.


• Collaborate with IT and project management teams to ensure seamless integration of the invoicing system with other corporate systems and platforms.


• Stay updated with the latest advancements in SQL database technologies and invoicing practices to ensure the system remains current and efficient.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 10+ years of proven success in financial services, with extensive experience in SQL database design, development, and administration, specifically in financial or invoicing systems.


• Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).


• Demonstrated experience in handling complex data structures and large-scale database projects.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex billing scenarios.


• Strong math and logic foundation to effectively manage and manipulate numerical data.


• Ability to interpret and understand contract language for accurate invoicing purposes.


• High visibility position requiring direct interaction with senior leadership and a material impact on company financials.
