Job Summary:

AI Accelerator Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect next-generation AI/ML accelerator hardware, including compute cores, memory hierarchies, and interconnect fabrics.
  
• Define microarchitecture and system-level design strategies to optimize performance, power, and area (PPA) for AI workloads.
  
• Collaborate with algorithm teams to map emerging ML models (e.g., transformers, CNNs, GNNs) onto hardware efficiently.
  
• Develop architectural models and simulations to validate design choices and predict performance.
  
• Work closely with RTL designers, verification engineers, and physical design teams to ensure architectural intent is maintained through implementation.
  
• Optimize dataflow, precision, sparsity, and quantization techniques for AI acceleration.
  
• Evaluate emerging AI workloads and industry trends to continuously evolve accelerator architectures.
  
• Contribute to IP creation, patent filings, and technical publications.
  
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews and roadmap planning.

Required:

• Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms and their hardware implications (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, etc.).
  
• Strong expertise in microarchitecture design for AI accelerators, including systolic arrays, tensor cores, and/or dataflow architectures.
  
• Experience with memory hierarchy design and optimization for AI workloads.
  
• Proficiency in architectural modeling and simulation tools (e.g., SystemC, gem5, custom C++ simulators).
  
• Knowledge of hardware description languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog) and RTL design flow.
  
• Familiarity with EDA tools for synthesis, simulation, and timing analysis.
  
• Solid programming skills in

  for modeling and automation.
