We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SDM & IMS Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NOC Operations, with experience in managing, configuring, and optimizing Subscriber Data Management platforms, including SDM/IMS Node. The role involves operations, troubleshooting, integration, and supporting next-generation core network services for Enterprise Networks (Private Wireless LTE). This role requires a blend of expertise in Multi-Domain Network Elements.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 8 -10+ years of experience in SDM & IMS domain.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform, including installation, configuration, and container platform administration, and knowledge of SDM/IMS architecture and functions. Hands-on experience with Nokia SDM/IMS nodes.
- Good understanding of IMS, VoLTE, EPC/5GC.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, parameter audits, and log analysis.
- Familiarity with virtualization/cloud platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes is a plus).
- L3 Certified Expert on IMS & SDM products.
It would be nice if you also had:
- 3GPP/5G Core & Cloud certifications.
- VMware / OpenStack / Kubernetes certifications (for NFV/Cloud-native SDM deployments).ITIL Foundation (for process knowledge).
- Lead end-to-end implementation and maintenance of Nokia SDM & IMS products. Customer-facing role.
- Resolution & providing technical support for the incidents reported/requests for SDM nodes (Analysis, Troubleshooting & fixing the issues reported) on already deployed to the end customer/user.
- Manage and operate SDM & IMS nodes (HLR, HSS, UDR, UDM, AUSF, PCF, EIR, etc.).
- Perform configuration, provisioning, and parameter changes.
- Handle incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis.
- Support new feature integration, expansions, and upgrades.
- Ensure system performance, availability, and KPI compliance.
- Work with cross-functional teams for IMS, VoLTE, 5G Core, and cloud-native environments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and SOPs.
- Manages technical escalations for technical requests, emergency cases, and outages internally and towards customers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders like GDC, Care, Field & Customer to resolve the issues.
- Participate in CAB/CR meetings. Preparing & Validating the MoPs and executing the CRs with 100% FTR.
- Analysis of Performance Degraded KPIs and their resolutions.
- Analyzing the RCAs, preparation of the final Incident Report, and Submission.
- Knowledge Transfer & Mentoring the team.
- Integration of Nodes.
- Software Update of the Nodes.
- Automate the daily Preventive & Repetitive Tasks.
