Job Description

You will be part of a social sector consulting firm and play a crucial role in conducting data collection, research, analysis, and knowledge sharing activities. Your responsibilities will include: Data Collection and Research: - Designing and implementing robust quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to assess fund utilization and effectiveness. - Developing and administering surveys, focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, and other data collection tools across various thematic areas. - Supporting participatory research approaches to ensure the inclusion of community voices and experiences in data analysis. - Collaborating with grassroots organizations and local stakeholders to co-create data collection and evaluation strategies. Data Visualization and Analysis: - Performing advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization to identify insights and correlations within NGO cohorts, geographies, and sub-types. - Summarizing research findings into engaging reports, dashboards, and presentations for both internal and external audiences. MLE Systems & Strategy: - Assisting in establishing and executing Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) systems for grassroots organizations, including Results Frameworks, Log-Frames, and Theories of Change (ToC). - Working with teams and NGOs to integrate resilience, gender, and climate considerations into MEL frameworks. Capacity Building & Knowledge Sharing: - Providing training to internal teams and partner organizations on effective data collection, analysis, and visualization practices. - Developing toolkits, case studies, and reports to disseminate key learnings and best practices. - Contributing to organizational learning by documenting and sharing lessons learned from MEL activities. Job Requirements: - 4-5 years of experience in measurement, evaluation, and learning within grassroots, NGO, and development contexts. - Proficiency in quantitative analysis, survey design, econometrics, and statistical analysis. - Expertise in qualitative research methodologies, including participatory action research and ethnographic approaches. - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, and statistical software like R, Stata, Python, SPSS. - Experience in resilience, gender, climate change, and community-based development. - Demonstrated ability to develop and manage MEL frameworks, theories of change, and impact measurement strategies. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to translate complex data into actionable insights. - Effective project management and stakeholder engagement skills. - Previous experience working with NGOs, civil society organizations, and donor-funded programs is advantageous.,
