Model Validation 2nd LOD Lead Analyst - VP

As a Risk Analytics, Modeling and Validation professional at our company, you play a crucial role in developing, enhancing, and validating methods for measuring and analyzing various types of risks such as market, credit, and operational risks. Your work in areas related to Recovery & Resolution Planning is essential as it involves validating models that impact key financial metrics like capital and liquidity. By applying a scientific and systematic approach, you contribute to assessing and mitigating risks, ensuring our company's financial stability, protecting assets, and supporting overall business strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform model validations, annual reviews, ongoing monitoring, and limitation remediation reviews under the supervision of a Validation Lead. - Challenge the model development process and evaluate testing results according to guidelines. - Contribute to regulatory and internal audit responses. - Collaborate with other teams to facilitate compliance with policies and procedures. - Assist in preparing reports and meeting materials for senior management. - Support the development and maintenance of qualitative model validation standards. **Qualifications:** - 5-8 years of experience in Quantitative Finance, Risk management, Analytics, Model Development, or Model Validation. - Excellent partnership and teamwork skills. - Strong analytical, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python. - Knowledge of financial markets, Banking, Recovery Planning, and Resolution Planning requirements. - Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and technical writing. - Strong technical skills in time series analysis, statistics, and econometrics. - Excellent communication, diplomacy, and influencing skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. - Master's or University degree in a relevant field.
