Yuva Parivartan (YP), a flagship movement of Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA) founded in 1928, was established in 1998 and formally launched by President APJ Kalam in 2003. YP's mission is to provide second chances to deprived youth and empower women through technical, business, and life skill training programs, enabling sustainable livelihoods. Over the last 25 years, YP has improved the employability of over 1.15 million deprived youth and women, primarily targeting small towns and villages. The organization offers flexible, short-duration courses tailored for practical training and income generation, supported by a network of field counsellors, community leaders, and digital platforms like Yuva Kaushal e-learning app.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mobilizer, located in Vada. The Mobilizer will be responsible for engaging with communities, identifying potential beneficiaries, and enrolling them into YP’s training programs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach activities, building relationships with local community leaders, coordinating with field counsellors and trainers, and assisting in the organization of training sessions. The Mobilizer will also track the progress of enrollees, provide necessary support and guidance, and ensure successful completion of training programs leading to employment or self-employment.

• Coordination and Organizational skills
• Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Experience in working within rural or small-town communities is beneficial
• A passion for social work and improving livelihoods
• Proficiency in local languages and dialects is an advantage
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training in social work or community development is a plus
