Mobile Service Technician

As a Mobile Service Technician, your role involves providing on-site installation, repair, and maintenance services for equipment, devices, or systems at customer locations. With your strong technical skills, customer service orientation, and ability to troubleshoot independently in the field, you will be ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient operations. - Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment or systems. - Install new equipment, ensuring proper configuration, calibration, and user setup. - Respond promptly to service requests within your assigned territory, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. - Document all service activities comprehensively, including repair details, parts used, and time reports, utilizing company systems. - Provide technical support and training to customers, guiding them on equipment operation and best practices. - Maintain a well-stocked service vehicle with necessary tools, parts, and safety equipment. - Adhere strictly to safety procedures, compliance standards, and company guidelines. - Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to minimize downtime. - Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to provide job status updates and service information. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma is preferred. - Demonstrated experience in field service, equipment repair, or a related technical role. - Proficient in mechanical, electrical, or electronic troubleshooting (industry-specific skills can be advantageous). - Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong communication and customer service abilities. - Capable of lifting and moving equipment as necessary for the job.
