About the Project: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated ML Engineer to lead the development of an innovative AI-based system. This platform is designed to automate the allocation of therapy patients to therapists, optimizing schedules, and enhancing continuity of care. The system also includes predictive modeling for resource planning and manages complex real-time events like cancellations and emergencies. This internship opportunity has the potential to become a full-time role for an exceptional candidate who can demonstrate their expertise and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead AI Model Development: Drive the end-to-end development of a core AI model for therapist allocation and patient scheduling.
• Implement Complex Business Logic: Translate intricate business rules, such as daily session limits (max 5 sessions per therapist) and specialized treatment requirements, into robust and scalable code.
• System Integration: Design and implement the integration with existing hospital and HR systems to ensure seamless data flow for the AI model.
• Predictive Modeling: Build and deploy predictive models for patient demand to support proactive resource planning and management.
• Data Pipeline Management: Create and maintain robust data pipelines for cleaning, preparing, and managing historical data for model training.
• Ensure Data Privacy & Security: Implement security protocols to ensure the system is compliant with national data privacy regulations when handling sensitive patient data.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a key technical point of contact, mentor junior developers, and lead code reviews to maintain high-quality code.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Machine Learning: Proven experience in building, training, and deploying machine learning models, with a focus on optimization and predictive analytics.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python and its ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Data & Database Skills: Experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Backend & API Development: Solid experience in developing and managing backend services and RESTful APIs for web-based platforms.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex logic and unexpected events.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
