Senior QA Test Engineer

Location:

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior

QA Test Engineer with expertise in Mirakl or any other Marketplace platform

to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and performance of Mirakl integrations, marketplace features, and associated eCommerce flows. The role requires strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements for Mirakl marketplace implementations.
Design comprehensive
test strategies, test cases, and test scripts
for functional, regression and integration testing.
Perform
end-to-end testing of Mirakl workflows
, including:
Seller onboarding
Product listing and catalog synchronization
Pricing and inventory updates
Order lifecycle (creation, validation, fulfillment, returns, cancellations)
Payments and invoicing.
Conduct
API testing
for Mirakl REST APIs (product, order, seller, catalog, pricing).
Execute manual cases and log defects in Jira/ALM or equivalent tools.
Collaborate with development, business analysts, and integration teams (Commerce, OMS, ERP, etc.).
Ensure proper test data management, environment readiness, and test cycle execution.
Prepare and maintain
test execution reports, defect metrics, and QA sign-off documents

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
3 6 years of QA experience
, with at least
2+ years in marketplace testing
.
Strong understanding of
eCommerce marketplace workflows
.
Hands-on experience with:
REST APIs
testing (Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent).
Test case management tools
(Jira, Zephyr, HP ALM, TestRail).
Defect tracking tools
(Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
SQL queries for backend validation.
Exposure to
integration testing
with systems like Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP, OMS, or Payment Gateways.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have

Knowledge of
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
methodology.
Exposure to
API mocking tools
and
test data virtualization
.
