Supervise Mining Operations
Monitor and manage daily mining activities in a designated section (open-cast or underground).Ensure Safety ComplianceEnforce DGMS and Mines Act regulations; conduct safety checks and inspections.Team ManagementAssign work to miners, operators, and helpers; ensure proper workforce coordination.Blasting Supervision (if certified)Assist in or oversee blasting operations with proper safety and documentation.Gas Testing & Hazard ControlEnsure pre-work gas testing and control of hazardous areas (especially in underground mines).Production MonitoringTrack mineral output, ensure target achievement, and report delays/issues to supervisors.Report & Record KeepingMaintain daily shift reports, safety logs, and incident records.Conditions
