Job Description

International Trade Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Shipment Responsibilities-

Generate and qualify international leads for import and export of commodities.
Negotiate and finalize sales/purchase contracts.
Review and process Letters of Credit (LCs) as per contract terms.
Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery or receipt of quality products.
Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.

Post-Shipment Responsibilities-

Prepare and manage all export/import documentation.
Handle customs clearance procedures and coordinate with CHAs.
Ensure timely negotiation and submission of documents to banks.
Follow up on payment realization for both import and export transactions.

Desired Experience & Skills:

Strong communication skills for interacting with international buyers and sellers.
Experience in drafting and finalizing
International LOIs, FCOs, and trade contracts
.
Sound understanding of
Letters of Credit
, including issuance, discounting, and related trade terms.
Practical exposure to customs processes and working with CHAs for export/import operations.
Experience in documentation for customs clearance and banking negotiations.
Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end international trade processesfrom initiation and negotiation to shipment, documentation, and fund settlement.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
