Role & responsibilities Supervise Mining Operations Monitor and manage daily mining activities in a designated section (open-cast or underground). Ensure Safety Compliance Enforce DGMS and Mines Act regulations; conduct safety checks and inspections. Team Management Assign work to miners, operators, and helpers; ensure proper workforce coordination. Blasting Supervision (if certified) Assist in or oversee blasting operations with proper safety and documentation. Gas Testing & Hazard Control Ensure pre-work gas testing and control of hazardous areas (especially in underground mines). Production Monitoring Track mineral output, ensure target achievement, and report delays/issues to supervisors. Report & Record Keeping Maintain daily shift reports, safety logs, and incident records.
