Middleware Architect

As a Middleware Architect at our company, your role will involve designing and implementing middleware solutions for high-volume, low-latency trading platforms in the stock broking / BFSI domain. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, security, and resilience of core trading and settlement systems. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, design, and optimize middleware platforms supporting trading, risk, compliance, and settlement systems. - Ensure low-latency messaging, high throughput, and fault tolerance for trading applications. - Define integration patterns across front office, middle office, and back-office systems. - Oversee middleware capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery for zero downtime during trading hours. - Establish and enforce governance, standards, and security protocols for middleware usage. - Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to align middleware with regulatory requirements. - Troubleshoot and provide root cause analysis of production incidents in real-time trading environments. - Evaluate and recommend modern middleware tools/technologies for scalable and cloud-ready architectures. Required Skills & Experience: - 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Middleware Architecture. - Proven expertise in WebLogic, WebSphere, TIBCO EMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, MuleSoft, or similar platforms. - Hands-on knowledge of messaging systems and APIs used in trading ecosystems. - Strong background in Java/J2EE, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). - Deep understanding of HA/DR, clustering, and failover strategies in high-availability environments. - Strong experience in security compliance and encryption protocols. - Exposure to financial services/trading platforms with focus on low latency and high throughput middleware. - Familiarity with cloud adoption and hybrid integration patterns. Good to Have: - Experience in APM tools for monitoring trading apps. - Exposure to Algo trading platforms / OMS / RMS integration. - Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in stock broking.,
