Job Summary:

The Purchase Coordinator is responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services. This role involves vendor coordination, purchase order processing, inventory checks, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Request and review quotes from vendors and negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse or store to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Track the status of orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Liaise with the accounts department to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain approved supplier lists.
  • Assist in the development of procurement strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, delays, or other issues with suppliers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures and sourcing practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho, Tally ERP).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,481.84 - ₹15,000.00 per month
