Ensures project timelines and all required project milestones are met. Ensures assessment and selection, test method development and validation, claims support, stability protocols including preservative efficacy testing, preparation of research reports and other documentation for internal use and government submission. Reviews and evaluates research and development protocols to ensure activities comply with industry, company and regulatory expectations for safety, efficacy and compatibility with standard clinical practice. Provides for scientific direction and leadership of research and development activities in support of selected product development projects.
