Merchant Trainer & Technical Support (Field)

The ideal candidate for this position should be comfortable with fieldwork and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must have a customer-service focus and should have work experience in help desk support, tech support, non-tech support, and software support. Additionally, candidates are required to have a 2-wheeler and a laptop. Being well-versed in the local language is also a must. In this role, you will visit restaurant partners in the field, provide service and customer support during field visits, install POS software in their systems/devices, and conduct training sessions on our products. You will be responsible for diagnosing errors or technical problems, identifying solutions, building positive customer relationships, and troubleshooting technical issues. The successful candidate should have proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT HelpDesk Technician, or a similar role. Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments is essential, as well as a good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required, along with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues. Familiarity with remote desktop applications and the capacity to provide step-by-step technical assistance are essential for this position. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The job may involve rotational shifts, and the candidate must be willing to travel 100%. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and proficiency in English and Punjabi languages is also preferred. A driving license is preferred, and the work location is in person at Jalandhar, Punjab.
