Job Description

Position: Merchandiser – Knitwear Location: Tirupur, Tamil Nadu Salary Range: ₹32,000 – ₹40,000 per month Experience Required: 4 to 8 years in knitwear merchandising Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Tirupur. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in knitwear and a proven track record of handling client communications, sampling, order execution, and production follow-ups. You will work closely with buyers, production teams, and internal departments to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of orders. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with buyers for order requirements, tech packs, and approvals Plan and manage sampling processes and ensure buyer feedback is implemented Raise BOMs, cost sheets, and track order status with production and sourcing teams Ensure timely sourcing of trims, fabrics, and accessories Monitor production timelines and quality parameters Maintain records of buyer communications and approvals Work collaboratively with QA and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery Key Requirements: 4–8 years of experience in knitwear merchandising Strong communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in Excel, Email correspondence, and T&A planning Deep understanding of fabric types, dyeing, printing, and garment construction Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Merchandising, or related field Prior experience working with export or large domestic brands Show more Show less
