Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate end-to-end garment production with factories and manufacturing partners. - Liaise with fabric mills for sourcing and development of required fabrics (cotton, polyester, blends, etc.). - Manage the complete garment manufacturing processincluding yarn procurement, knitting, dyeing, cutting, stitching, printing, embroidery, trimming, and packaging. - Negotiate prices, timelines, and terms with factories and suppliers. - Evaluate and finalize fabric sourcing options based on quality, availability, and price competitiveness. - Work closely with design and product development teams. - Maintain detailed costing sheets, track production status, and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Identify and onboard new manufacturers and suppliers. - Resolve production issues proactively and stay updated on market trends. Key Requirements: - Education: Graduate in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, or Apparel Production. - Experience: 4-8 years of experience in garment manufacturing. - Technical Knowledge: Yarn and fabric sourcing, fabric construction, garment costing, vendor management, design development. - Categories Exposure: T-shirts, menswear, womenswear, kidswear, uniforms. - Skills: Strong negotiation, vendor coordination, attention to detail, time management. - Preferred Background: Prior experience in apparel manufacturing hubs like Tirupur.
