Job Description

MERCHANDISER

Location: Barnala, Punjab

PURPOSE & IMPACT OF YOUR ROLE

Assist in the preparation of budgets, sales and profit targets;
Develop and agree plans in partnership with the Buyer that achieve sales and profit targets and implement the agreed departmental strategy.
MTS order execution on daily basis from Trident Global Corp Limited.
Measure and analyse all commercial decisions within the merchandising function
Conversion of Purchase Order to Sales Order by regular follow ups with the SCM team.
Coordination with forwarders for dispatch of ready material.
Ensuring on time and error free dispatches in the full quantity.
Act as the bridge between the customers and the company by addressing customer issues and solving customer problems.
Monitoring customer warehouse inventory levels and submitting comprehensive inventory reports each week.
Ensuring continuous efforts of cost reduction in coordination with the SCM team.

SKILLS

Adherence to tools such as SAP and relevant customer portals.
Experience of more than 2 years in merchandising or retail.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Strong proactive approach and comfortable in adjusting in a dynamic environment.
Thriving in matrix environments and are adept at influencing and coordinating with different stakeholders.
