MEP Tendering and Design

As a Tendering Specialist, your role involves reviewing Civil, Interior, Furniture, FAS, MEP tenders in terms of drawings and scope of work. You will be responsible for floating tenders with all related documents and preparing a comparative summary. Your key responsibilities include: - Closing contracts technically and financially within the estimated budget and time-frame. - Preparing project closure sheets. - Conducting rate analysis for each item. - Developing annual rate contracts with detailed scope of work. - On-boarding new vendors. - Acting as a single point of contact for all parties involved in a bid. - Maintaining the project budget. - Maintaining all project documents. In the Design aspect of the role, your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with Consultants/Architects and internal resources for the preparation of site detailed drawings. - Reviewing design concepts, BOQ, and detailed drawings using tools such as AutoCAD submitted by Consultants/Architects. - Developing project scope of work involving all relevant stakeholders. - Finalizing scope and BOQ. - Creating and maintaining project documents. - Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. - Reporting and escalating to management as needed. - Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. - Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. You are expected to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress effectively in both Tendering and Design aspects of the role.
