As an MEP Civil Designer at our company, your role is crucial in preparing accurate final MEP civil drawings from approved floor plans, ensuring code compliance and constructability. You will also be responsible for designing and optimizing HVAC systems for retail spaces, with a specific focus on energy efficiency, comfort, and space utilization. Your tasks will include planning the efficient routing of ducting, piping, and cable trays to maximize usable retail space and aesthetics, as well as aligning MEP layouts with brand design guidelines for lighting, HVAC visibility, and store layouts. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate final MEP civil drawings from approved floor plans - Design and optimize HVAC systems for retail spaces with a focus on energy efficiency, comfort, and space utilization - Plan efficient routing of ducting, piping, and cable trays to maximize usable retail space and aesthetics - Align MEP layouts with brand design guidelines for lighting, HVAC visibility, and store layouts - Apply retail project experience to address space constraints, fast rollouts, and customer-centric design - Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve design conflicts - Maintain quality control, documentation protocols, and ensure compliance through peer reviews Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in MEP civil design, particularly in retail projects - Proficiency in relevant design software and tools - Strong understanding of building codes and regulations - Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively In addition to the exciting responsibilities outlined above, you will be joining a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
