As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and designing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This includes developing policies, standards, inspection procedures, and evaluation tools for MEP matters. You will be required to prepare, review drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Working as part of the project management team and reporting to the Project Director, you will oversee all aspects of the project related to building services. This includes managing the MEP team to ensure that daily duties are carried out professionally and efficiently to support the project's progress. The MEP team on site consists of the Lead Mechanical (MEP) Engineer, Electrical Engineer, and MEP Inspectors. Your responsibilities will include reviewing plans and specifications, managing subordinate staff, preparing plans and cost estimates for various systems, providing technical advice, analyzing engineering problems, identifying design issues, managing multiple projects, organizing and evaluating work, preparing presentations, advising on construction progress, monitoring contractors" schedules, ensuring proper documentation, advising on LEED standards, reporting risks, reviewing shop drawings, undertaking site inspections, promoting health and safety, and more. To qualify for this role, you should have a Mechanical or Electrical University degree in Engineering, working knowledge of trade-related documents, at least 2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, familiarity with construction procedures, computer literacy, and excellent communication and organizational skills.,
