Accountant / Account Executive

You will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports, and documenting financial transactions by entering account information. Your role will involve preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries, recommending financial actions, and summarizing the current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports. Additionally, you will substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Furthermore, you will guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions, reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, and secure financial information by completing database backups. You will also maintain financial security by following internal controls, answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations, and comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Your responsibilities will also include preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, maintaining customer confidence, and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential.
