You will document financial transactions by accurately entering account information and recommend financial actions based on your analysis of accounting options. Additionally, you will summarize the current financial status by collecting information and preparing essential financial statements like balance sheets and profit and loss statements. It will be your duty to substantiate financial transactions by meticulously auditing documents and maintain accounting controls by preparing and suggesting policies and procedures. You will guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and addressing any queries they may have. Your role will also involve reconciling financial discrepancies, ensuring financial security by following internal controls, and answering accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations. As an Accountant, you must comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by staying updated on existing and new legislation and advising management on necessary actions. You will prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends, while maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong skill set that includes expertise in accounting, corporate finance, reporting skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented mindset, reporting research results, understanding of SFAS rules, confidentiality, time management, data entry management, and general math skills. The ideal candidate for this position should have 3-4 years of relevant experience and hold educational qualifications such as B.Com or M.Com. Continuous learning and professional development are also crucial, so attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies will be expected to maintain your professional and technical knowledge.
