Medical Superintendent

• Oversee clinical services and ensure smooth functioning of all hospital units attached to the medical college.
• Ensure compliance with NMC norms, hospital accreditation standards, and teaching requirements.
• Coordinate between academic departments and hospital administration for integrated patient care and medical education.
• Supervise faculty doctors, residents, interns, nurses, and support staff; ensure discipline, duty rosters, and proper clinical postings.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety protocols, biomedical waste management, and emergency readiness.
• Ensure adequate availability of medicines, equipment, manpower, and essential hospital infrastructure.
• Facilitate clinical training, practical exposure, and bedside teaching for MBBS and PG students.
• Handle hospital audits, quality checks, documentation, and regulatory inspections.
• Address patient complaints and ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MD/MS from a recognized institution.
• Senior teaching/clinical experience in a medical college hospital.
