Job Description

Job Title: Sales Officer (TSO) – Ayurveda Human Division

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager

Location: Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, Baroda, Anand, Himatngar/ Mahesana, Jamnagar

Key Responsibilities:

* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned Ayurvedic products within the defined territory.

* Promote company products to doctors, Ayurvedic practitioners, chemists, and distributors as per company norms.

* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the territory.

* Ensure secondary sales growth through effective coverage and regular follow-up.

* Visit Ayurvedic and General Practitioners (minimum prescribed calls per day).

* Conduct product detailing and scientific discussions to build strong prescription support.

* Generate demand through consistent field work and relationship management.

* Update and maintain doctor and chemist database regularly.

* Coordinate with stockists/distributors to ensure product availability and timely supply.

* Monitor stock levels, secondary sales, and payments regularly.

* Ensure timely order booking and follow up on collections.

* Collect and report market feedback, competitor activities, new launches, and promotional trends.

* Identify potential new doctors, clinics, Ayurvedic hospitals, and retail outlets.

* Submit daily call reports (DCR) and monthly tour plans on time.

* Maintain proper records of field work, sample distribution, and promotional material usage.

* Prepare reports on sales performance and territory analysis.

* Execute company-approved promotional strategies, CMEs, doctor meetings, health camps, and product awareness programs.

* Ensure proper utilization of samples, gifts, and visual aids as per company policy.

* Adhere strictly to company policies, reporting systems, and code of conduct.

* Maintain ethical standards during interactions with doctors, chemists, and distributors.

* Ensure punctuality, discipline, and professional behavior in the field.

* Qualification: B.Sc / B.Pharm / B.Ayurveda / B.Com / Graduate in any stream (preferably science background).

* Experience: 1–5 years in Ayurvedic / Herbal / Pharma sales.

* Skills: Good communication, negotiation, relationship management, and territory knowledge.

* Language: Local language proficiency with basic English communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
