About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Coding Trainer to train new and existing coders and CPC certification in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding. Training includes Medical Coding Training and CPC Certification training. The ideal candidate has strong coding expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing talent in the healthcare domain.

The Trainer role focuses on conducting training programs for new candidates and providing structured training for freshers who join Fedora Healthcare, preparing them to become skilled, job-ready medical coders for future roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training for new hires and existing medical coders on ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and payer guidelines.
• Deliver sessions through classroom, virtual training, and hands-on practice.
• Prepare and update training materials, presentations, assessments, and job aids.
• Evaluate trainee performance through quizzes, audits, coding tests, and productivity checks.
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Stay updated with CMS, AMA, and regulatory coding updates and ensure training content reflects changes.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and audit teams to address coding errors or trends.
• Support cross-training across specialties such as E/M, Surgery, Radiology, ED, and more.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in multiple specialties (E/M, ED, Surgery, Radiology, HCC, etc.).
• Strong analytical ability to identify error trends and training needs.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and coding software.
• Proficient with MS Office, LMS platforms, and virtual training tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
