Job Summary:

Raj Consultancy is seeking a Medical Biller with a strong background in medical billing and coding. This position will be responsible for the collection of past due medical bills from patients and processing payments. The position will also be responsible for collecting and processing payments for services rendered. The position will report to the billing manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect past due medical bills from patients.
• Process payments (cash, check, credit cards) for patients.
• Maintain patient files.
• Answer patient calls and direct them to the correct billing department.
• Answer patient billing questions regarding their account.
• Review past due medical bills and prepare payment plans for patients who do not pay their billings in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all billing procedures are followed and follow all established procedures to ensure that our process is efficient and accurate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Accounting or Executive Director of Operations.

Required Skills:
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas to others in written, verbal, or diagram form.·Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.·Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan ahead for future needs and prioritize tasks based on urgency.·A strong work ethic with an ability to work independently or as part of a team, as required or appropriate, depending on the needs of the department, department head, or client.·A strong understanding of medical billing procedures and practices, including CPT/ICD/VHEI coding, insurance verification, collection practices, data entry procedures, computer knowledge, and proficiency in using an electronic medical record system (e.g., Aetna CareCloud). Knowledge of other medical terminology is helpful but not required for this position.

OFFICE TIMING: 5:30pm to 3:00am / 6.30pm to 4am

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
