Media Scanning & Media Research Executive

What you will do -

• Scan Punjab regional newspapers, online news portals, TV channels, and social media for political, social, and government-related news.
• Track news related to party activities, opposition statements, government schemes, local issues, and emerging narratives.
• Capture important headlines, screenshots, video clips, and articles.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports summarizing media trends in Punjab.
• Analyze media sentiment (positive, negative, neutral) and highlight key concerns or opportunities.
• Identify misinformation, propaganda, or trending issues requiring immediate response.

• Maintain an organized database of news articles, TV scan reports, journalist details, and district-wise issue trackers.
• Prepare summaries in English, Hindi, or Punjabi as required.

• Coordinate with the state media team, district teams, and the central research team.
• Share real-time updates on important breaking news or urgent political developments.
• Support social media/content teams with fact-based inputs when required.

• Collect ground feedback from local media or district contacts.
• Track local issues, voters' concerns, and political activities across Punjab.

What you’ll bring -

• Strong understanding of Punjab politics, culture, and regional media.
• Good command over Punjabi, Hindi, and English (reading & writing).
• Ability to summarize news accurately and quickly.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online news tools.
• Good documentation and reporting skills (Google Sheets, Word,
