As a Media Analyst, you will monitor, analyse and evaluate media coverage, offering time-bound insights to the content unit, to aid them in strategic social media activity, and guide the strategy unit towards critical decision-making. This role is critical for ensuring campaigns are effectively resonating with the target audience and for addressing gaps in communication. This role requires you to keep a tab on media activity across platforms including conventional and digital media.

Responsibilities:

Media Monitoring: Track print, digital, and broadcast media coverage relevant to campaigns and projects.
Trend Identification: Identify emerging media trends and recommend strategies to capitalize on them.
Quick Reporting & Briefs: Prepare time-bound transfer of knowledge to content units, and comprehensive reporting on media coverage, narratives, etc.
Stakeholder Communication: Present findings to internal teams, aligning recommendations with project goals.

Preferred Qualification:

Relevant degree in Media Studies, Communication, or related fields.
Familiarity with media analytics tools like Meltwater or similar platforms.
Prior experience in monitoring political or social campaigns.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communication, or related fields.
2 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
