Mechanical Service Engineer

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning:

  Set up high-pressure plunger pump systems at client sites, ensure full functionality, and collect NPS feedback post-completion (Target > 8).

• Customer Complaint Resolution:

  Handle service requests via phone and in-person visits; perform root cause analysis and deliver long-term solutions.

• Maintenance & Repairs:

  Conduct preventive maintenance (AMCs) and address breakdowns both onsite and at HQ; prepare detailed service reports.

• Internal Coordination:

  Collaborate with Purchase, Design, Dispatch, and Sales teams to ensure timely spare availability and issue closure.

• Documentation & SOPs:

  Maintain service records, prepare SOPs, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing (RCA reports, spares tracking).

Required Skills and Competencies:

Technical Expertise:

• High-pressure pump system installation, maintenance, and diagnostics
• Strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with CAD drawings, MS Office, and ERP/CRM platforms

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Conflict resolution and client handling
• Documentation and analytical thinking

Physical & Situational Requirements:

• Comfortable with traveling 2022 days/month across India (occasional overseas visits)
• Willingness to carry tools/spares to remote locations and perform field service tasks
• Ability to supervise technicians/helpers during service operations

• 1+ year in a mechanical service or field support role

Qualification:

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering

Knowledge:

• Understanding of high-pressure pump systems, customer service norms, and RCA methods
• Basic knowledge of ERP & reporting tools
