If so, lets talk. The Role: As a CMM Engineer , you will be the gatekeeper of precision, ensuring our high-pressure plunger pump components meet the most stringent quality standards. You will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold the integrity of our manufacturing processes. Your role is pivotal in ensuring dimensional accuracy, quality control, and adherence to industry regulations. Reporting to the Quality Head , you will play a key part in driving continuous improvement in our measurement and inspection processes. Key Responsibilities: CMM Programming & Operation: Develop and execute CMM programs using software like Tangram to inspect precision components. Conduct dimensional inspections and generate detailed measurement reports . Quality Control & Inspection: Perform first-article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications. Work closely with Production & Engineering teams to troubleshoot deviations and implement corrective actions. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Analyze measurement data to detect trends, inconsistencies, and potential process improvements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in measurement techniques and inspection methods. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GD&T principles, and industry best practices . Maintain calibration records and CMM logs for audits and traceability. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between the Quality, Design, and Production teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing precision. Provide technical training and mentorship to junior team members on CMM operations and quality inspection techniques. Required Skills and Competencies: CMM Programming & Inspection: Expertise in programming and operating CMM machines, ensuring high-precision measurements. Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T): Strong understanding of GD&T principles for accurate component validation. Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret technical drawings, analyze measurement data, and suggest process improvements. Attention to Detail: Ensures precision and accuracy in every inspection process, eliminating errors before they reach the customer. Problem-Solving: Quick to identify and resolve quality issues, preventing disruptions in production. Collaboration & Communication: Works seamlessly with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between Quality, Engineering, and Production. What Makes You Our Perfect Match? Experience: 2 - 4 years of experience in CMM Operations Qualification: BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with Tangram CMM software. 3D Measurement & Metrology MS Excel & Data Analysis Tool ISO Standards & Quality Systems Physical Requirement: Ability to work in environments with temperatures under 20C.
