Mechanical Maintenance Executive | Chemical Plant | Medchal Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution:

• Assist in the planning and execution of mechanical engineering projects. Conduct regular inspections and condition monitoring to predict failures.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other departments to ensure timely completion.
• Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with standards.

• Prepare project documentation, including reports, schedules, and cost estimates.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and condition monitoring to predict failures.

Breakdown Maintenance:

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime.
• Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.

Equipment Management:

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, motors, valves, and piping systems.
• Maintain up-to-date equipment logs, service records, and spare parts inventory.

Team Coordination & Supervision:

• Supervise and guide technicians and fitters in executing maintenance tasks.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company standards.

Improvement & Optimization:

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S,
• Recommend and implement upgrades or replacements of machinery when necessary.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory maintenance regulations.
• Support audits and inspections

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Understanding of safety regulations and standards
• Good team coordination and communication skills

Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setup
