Mechanical Engineer – Water & Sewage Pumping Stations | Pipelines
Location: Oman
Company: Precision Skills International LLC
Core Responsibilities
Design and supervise installation of HDPE and Ductile Iron (DI) pipelines for potable water, sewage, and stormwater networks
Plan and execute pumping station layouts, including pump selection, valve arrangements, surge protection, and flow control including calculations
Oversee trenching, bedding, pipe laying, welding (HDPE), and jointing (DI)
Testing & Commissioning
Conduct hydrostatic pressure tests, leakage tests, and flushing procedures
Supervise commissioning of pumps, control panels, and SCADA systems
Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, BS, and local utility standards
Maintenance & Operations
Develop preventive maintenance schedules for pumps, valves, and pipeline networks
Troubleshoot mechanical faults and optimize system performance
Coordinate with electrical and instrumentation teams for integrated operations
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and inspection reports
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of experience in facility coordination or similar project handling
Knowledge of HVAC, DI, MS, SS, HDPE pipelines, and pumps automation
Strong organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with Gulf-region compliance standards and safety regulations
Proficiency in MS Office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
