‘FACOR’ a unit of Vedanta Limited, is one of India’s leading producer and exporter of Ferro Chrome, an essential ingredient to produce stainless steel and specialty steels. It is a fully Integrated business of 150 KTPA Ferro-Chrome production capacity with 1.65 MTPA ROM Production along with 6 Own Mines and a 100 MW Power Plant. The Successful Candidate:

• Should impart duties as described in MMR 1961.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of equipment specifications, maintenance logs, and operational procedures.
• Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities.
• Ensure all underground machineries comply with safety regulations as per DGMS standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Stay updated with DGMS standards and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
• Work closely with the MDO partner to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
• Must have experience of working with govt. statutory bodies to obtain equipment permissions meant for underground operations.

Desired Attributes:

• In-depth knowledge of underground chrome ore mining operations and metalliferous Mine legislation.
