Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer with a background in 3D printing and medical devices, you will be joining Prayasta, a company established in 2017 in Bangalore with a unique approach to tailoring implants to individual requirements rather than adhering to standard sizes. Prayasta has developed a cutting-edge 3D printer capable of producing "implant-grade" silicone, enabling the creation of a diverse range of soft-tissue implants. The company has garnered support from various grants and accolades, including patents in both India and the USA for its innovative technology. Your role at Prayasta will involve designing and developing intricate 3D models for medical device components and systems. You will utilize advanced 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo to create detailed designs. Additionally, you will be responsible for prototyping using additive manufacturing technologies, conducting simulations and analysis to validate designs, ensuring regulatory compliance with medical device standards and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of mechanical designs with other system components.
