Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Aryan Cables, Village Manda, Bhojipura, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh
Reporting To: Head of Engineering / Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and oversee mechanical systems and machinery used in the cable manufacturing process.
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing mechanical equipment (extruders, cable stranding machines, cooling troughs, drawing machines, etc.).
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize machine uptime.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and electrical teams to ensure machines perform at required quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implement corrective & preventive actions.
• Assist in layout design, installation, and commissioning of new machinery or modifications.
• Ensure mechanical components, spare parts, and consumables are available, fit for purpose, and meet quality standards.
• Prepare technical documentation: machine manuals, maintenance logs, reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor mechanical performance metrics, suggest improvements, and lead mechanical improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental norms.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• (Optional if mid/senior level) 2-5 years (or more) of experience in manufacturing / heavy machinery environment, ideally in cable, wire, or similar continuous production industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drives, gearboxes, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, bearings, alignment, etc.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, mechanical layouts.
• Good skills in maintenance planning and execution.
• Knowledge of tools & techniques for diagnostics, condition monitoring (vibrations, lubrication, alignment).
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc.) is a plus.
• Problem-solving mindset, analytical skills.
• Good communication skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19,195.39 - ₹59,336.68 per month
