Based in Kerala, Maretek India operates a service center with the Department of Industries (SSI) and holds a manufacturing license for Fire & Gas Detection Systems.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer, based in Kochi. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machinery, utilizing CAD software, managing and overseeing projects, and conducting research and development activities. Daily tasks will involve ensuring compliance with industry standards, coordinating with other engineers and departments, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
• Skills in Project Management and coordinating engineering projects
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in the shipbuilding or petrochemical industry is a plus
